When adding 1 or more products to your cart, select "Subscribe & Save" to receive 10% off each recurring order.

You can also select the delivery frequency of each product you subscribe to at the time of ordering. This can be updated at any time. Once the initial subscription order is made, you will be able to sign in and adjust your delivery frequency to any number of days, weeks or months you wish. The initial order screen has limited choices due to webspace.

When you Subscribe & Save to one or more products on our site, an account will be created for you at the time of check-out. Watch for an email to activate your subscription. LOGIN to the customer portal at any time after activating. You can log in via your recurring order confirmation email or from the landing page on our website, using the button "LOGIN".

Yes, once logged in select Manage Subscriptions, then click Add A Product.This will open a pop-up where you can search, view, and selectadditional products to add to your upcoming deliveries. You can add a one-time purchase or an additional subscription. You may also choose the frequency and first shipment date.

Once logged in, click Manage Subscriptions on the left and then find Delivery Schedulealong the top of the page. Next find the product you want to adapt and select edit.  

Once you update and save your delivery schedule, double check the next delivery date to be sure it matches your intention.

Yes, If you're going to be away or on vacation and want to skip a delivery, just log in and click Manage Subscriptionson the left. Then tap Delivery Schedule,found along the top of the page. Click Skipnext to the delivery you would like to skip and confirm. Similarly, to unskip a delivery you will click Unskipnext to the order.

You can log in and successfully skip or cancel your next order up til midnight PST before the date it is set to process.

Yes, but there is not a specific “Hold” setting. However, you can do this by logging in to your account from the website, choosing Manage Subscriptions and selecting edit next to the subscription/s you want to suspend. To do this, you will need to adjust your delivery date out to an extended period of time of your choosing. After hitting save, double check the update you made is correct. When you are ready to receive shipments again, log back in and adjust the next delivery date and save. Be sure the delivery interval matches your needs.

When there is a refund or cancellation of an order, the commission will be deducted automatically from the unpaid earnings of the affiliate. If your payment has already been made, the deduction will simply be accounted for on the next payment.

Both fish and marine algae are rich sources of EPA & DPA, which offer substantial health benefits. But, fish omega-3 does have slightly higher levels of DHA & EPA. However, fish ingest EPA/DHA from eating algae, whereas harvesting algae as the direct source means that you still retain a potent source of DHA and EPA without all the processing. The purest source of omega-3 comes from algae, not fish, and the 2 products offer almost identical benefits.

Even though omega-3’s from fish are ideally extracted from wild fish (not farmed), there is no control over what they consume in the ocean, which has become increasingly at risk. The bottom line: The US Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) ensures that all animal products imported into the USA satisfy their unyielding health standards, without any health risks, following the guidelines put forth by the Organization for Animal Health (OIE). The OIE conducted a comprehensive study on BSE and its effects on bovine products like collagen and gelatin. The study revealed that there is near zero risk of BSE transmission in food products such as milk, gelatin, and other hide-based or boneless originated products.

In addition, the March 16th 2012 US Department of Agriculture report states that the manufacturing process of Gelatin and Collagen further decreases the risk of BSE infection beyond the conclusions of the OIE.

From South America, including Brazil, Uruguay and Paraguay. With abundant open pastures, these countries favor grass-fed grazing for their cattle. We select the best of these farms and source our bovine hides from there.

Collagen peptides dissolve in hot or cold liquid, whereas gelatin can only mix in hot liquids but will return to its gel state once the liquid cools. In a health context they are very similar, although the shorter amino acid chains in collagen peptides are a little easier to absorb for our bodies.

The difference is the animal source of the protein. Amandean's Collagen Peptides and Beef Gelatin contain collagen protein found in grass-fed cows. It's almost identical to the kind of collagen we have in our bodies, which is what makes it such a popular and effective dietary supplement.

Marine Collagen is derived from the skins of wild-caught Atlantic fish and offers the similar health benefits as collagen from cows. Marine Collagen has shown to have up to 150% more bioavailability in humans, making it a popular choice as a supplement.

Once collagen is hydrolyzed (broken down into short chain amino acids, aka peptides), it is very difficult to actually tell the different types of collagen apart. The way that collagen supplements work is that some of the amino acids trigger a response in your body to start producing more collagen, so it’s not like you are just replacing lost collagen directly from taking the supplement itself. The main thing about the multi-collagens are in the sources of where the collagen is derived from (marine, bovine, porcine, poultry cartilage, egg shell membranes, etc.). These are different types of collagen to start with, but once it’s processed into a collagen supplement (powder, peptides, protein, hydrolysate, they are all the same), it’s really about impossible to tell the different types apart. They all contain the same 18 amino acids (albeit in slightly different ratios), so it doesn’t make that much difference, as it’s the amino acids that are prompting your body to produce more collagen.

We highly recommend that you talk with your pediatrician before introducing your children to collagen, as each child’s nutritional needs will differ.

Amandean doesn't have an official halal certification for our marine collagen powder, but the (only) ingredient used in our Marine Collagen is certified halal. It’s made from the skins of wild-caught cod, and manufactured in a facility that only makes fish collagen & fish gelatin. so there is no cross-contamination with any other animals. Our final packaging takes place at a cGMP certified facility in the US. Because we don’t pay for the halal certification at the time of packaging, we are precluded from claiming it as “certified”. We have chosen to forgo the expensive certification and pass the savings on to our customers instead.

Most of our products have a 4-5 year shelf life. "Best by" dates are printed clearly on the bottom of each product container.
